The Estonian national broadcaster, ERR, has revealed that a record total of 238 entries have been received for the 2016 Estonian national selection, Eesti Laul.
With the number of submitted entries received rising every year, a grand total of 238 entries have been submitted by artists and composers for the upcoming Eesti Laul national selection, 19 more entries than last year.
Over the course of 2 days, the 4 and 5 November, a professional music panel consisting of 11 members will meet where they will narrow the 238 submitted entries down to a final total of 20 entries. The Eesti Laul 2016 participants will then be revealed on the 5 November at 18:00 CET (19:00 local time) during the television show Ringvaade, however participants have until the 11 December to publicly publish their entries.
