Thomas G:son, Peter Boström and Måns Zelmerlöw have submitted a song, written together, to Melodifestivalen 2016. “It’s a mid-tempo pop”, revealed G:son to SR P4 Skaraborg.

G:son and Boström are the names behind songs like Edurne‘s Amanecer and Danny Saucedo‘s In the club. They are mostly known for writing Sweden’s winning entry of 2012, Euphoria, while Måns has recently won Eurovision for Sweden, performing Heroes. Måns also co-wrote this year’s Melodifestivalen entry Det rår vi inte för by Behrang Miri & Victor Crone that was eliminated in the andra chansen round.

“Every year it is time to send in songs and to get some work done in the record companies, and everything is possible. We just decided to do this together”, adds G:son.

If the song will be among the final 28 that will perform in the live shows, it won’t be Måns who will sing it. The potential singer has not been revealed, and we will know if the song has made it through during SVT’s annual press conference towards the end of November, that will reveal the participating artists and songs in next year’s Melodifestivalen.
