Paul Oscar (or Páll Óskar) the Icelandic representative for Eurovision 1997, has appeared in the long-running Icelandic TV show for children, Stundin Okkar. 

“Hey Palli, do you have a girlfriend?”, a colleague asks him. “No, I don’t, and I’m never going to have any”, he answers, and explains the situation in a simple and easy way for children to understand.

Paul has reached the 20th place when representing Iceland in Eurovision 1997 with Minn hinsti dans, a song that became a hit among the fans and considered to be ahead of its time.
