Last night at a special Columbus Day event in New York, Italy’s 2015 Eurovision representatives Il Volo met with world-renowned singer-songwriter Lady Gaga where Italian-American heritage was celebrated.

During yesterday’s Columbus Citizens Foundation gala at the Waldorf Astoria in New York, the Italian trio, who recently celebrated their album L’amore si muove reaching number one in the US Classical Albums Billboard, met with Lady Gaga at the event with the aim of celebrating ties between both Italy and the United States. Lady Gaga, who recently made her debut in the fifth season of American Horror Story, appeared at the event alongside the legendary singer Tony Bennett, both of whom are of Italian descent.
