RTE, the national Irish broadcaster has released a video of Molly Sterling’s performance at the Pop Meets Opera concert in Vienna. The 2015 Irish Eurovision representative performed Build fireworks again.
A grand line up of 2015 Eurovision representatives from Hungary, Norway, Cyprus, Ireland were invited to perform at the special concert Pop Meets Opera at Vienna’s State Opera. The concert was held on 17 May and was aired live on ORF and streamed live worldwide on the very same day.
Many international stars as well as Conchita Wurst, the 2014 Austrian Eurovision winner also performed at the concert.
Molly Sterling won the 2015 Irish Eurovision national final and was awarded the golden ticket to represent Ireland at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna with her entry Playing with numbers. Despite a powerful performance Ireland failed to qualify to the grand final.
