Tonight, Melodi Grand Prix 2008, Norway's national selection will continue: the third and fourth placed entries from the three semi finals will be performed again and another two will reach the national final on Saturday.

The show

The show starts at 19:55 CET and will be held in Oslo hosted by Per Sundnes. Six songs will be presented and televoting will choose two songs to join the six songs already chosen for the national final this Saturday.

In 2007, Norway was represented by Guri Schanke who finished 18th in the semi final with Ven a bailar conmigo. Itwas the first time that Norwayisdid not takepart in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest since the semi final was introduced in 2004.In 2008, the Norwegian entry will be presented in the first semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 20th May.
