The first quarter final of Eurosong 2008, the Belgian selection for the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest, was held tonight. Five songs were presented and the top two were chosen by televoting to go directly to the semi finals.

To the semi finals:
- Katy Satyn – Magical sensation
- Brahim – What I like about you
Possible second chance wildcard:
- Raeven – Shut down the heat machine
- Femme Fatale – Décadence
Eliminated:
- Eva Darche – We breathe
The third and fourth placed songs are in the running to get one of the jury wild cards. The fifth plced song is out of the competition for good.
Last year the Walloon broadcaster submittedthe entry LovePower which was performed by the KMG's and finished 26th in the semi finalgetting 14 points- 12 of them from debuting country Georgia. The last time an entry by the Flemish broadcaster reached the top 10 was back in 1977!
