This years’ Dutch participant for the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Trijntje Oosterhuis, has performed on the popular Dutch TV-show Carlo & Irene: Life 4 You.

Before performing her 2015 Eurovision-entry Walk Along live, Trijntje Oosterhuis talked about her participation with the hosts of Life 4 You, Irene Moors ans Carlo Boszhard, himself a great Eurovision-fan who has been a member on the official Dutch jury for the ESC before. Trijntje Oosterhuis said she is very excited about her Eurovision-adventure, and is working hard on her stage performance, knowing full well that she has to perform excellently, both vocally and visually.

Trijntje Oosterhuis is also putting the finishing touches to her new album, Walk Along, that will be released prior to the ESC 2015 on the 15th of May. Furthermore, the Dutch singer is looking forward to her concert in the Heineken Music Hall, Amsterdam, on 18 December 2015, which she considers to be the crowning piece of her Eurovision-year.

Trijntje Oosterhuis also commented on snippets from her competition from Belgium and Finland, who will perform just before and after her during the first semi-final of the ESC 2015. She likes Belgium very much, and appreciates Finland, as their entry is honest and real, which she respects as an artist. Trijntje Oosterhuis also listened to snippets from the current top-three in the polls, Australia, Italy and Sweden, and fully understands that these songs are at the top at the moment.

Trijntje Oosterhuis will represent The Netherlands with the song Walk Along, written and composed by Anouk (Eurovision 2013), at the 60th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria. The beloved Dutch artist will perform in semi-final 1, on Tuesday the 19th of May 2015, from position four.
