The winner of the first Lithuanian national final heat Jeronimas Milius with Nomads in the night is one of the hot favorites to represent Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. During the first national preselection heat he got the maximum score from both the jury and televoters. In the interview Jeronimas reveals to esctoday his thoughts about the biggest musical event in Europe and his future plans.
Practically unknown to the biggest part of Lithuanian TV viewers and radio audience Jeronimas won the national preselecton for the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. Being a metal rocker, he has adapted a melodic rock song Nomands in the night for a wider audience and not just hardrock lovers.
Thetwenty three year old singer was born in Vilnius. Since 2004 he and his like-minded friends are singing in the band called Soul brother. His vocal teachers are the best Lituanian rock music performers Česlovas Gabalis and Povilas Meškėla that he is performing with.
In 2006 Jeronimas was the backing singer for Aistė Pilvelytė in the National Lithuanian final. This year they both will meet in the national final as well, but this time as rivals. Lithuanian press already claims Jeronimas as Lithuanian representative but the actual winner will be decided on 2 February.
