The current winner of the Eurovision Song Contest, Conchita Wurst will be making a TV appearance on the show Stöckl alongside Hape Kerkeling on Thursday, 23 April 2015. The show will be broadcast on ORF 2 at 23:05 CET.
During the show, (which will be hosted by Barbara Stöckl) the two entertainment personalities will discuss their career hurdles, happiness, equality, love, and fascination to go big in women’s clothing.
Conchita Wurst won the Eurovision Song Contest last year in Copenhagen with the song Rise like a phoenix. Appointed by her fans as the “Queen of Austria”, Conchita is seen around the world as a symbol of tolerance and equality. World stars such as Elton John, Jean Paul Gaultier and Cher are among her admirers.
Hape Kerkeling is Germany’s versatile TV presenters. The popular comedian speaks five languages and has been for more than three decades an integral part of German TV. His work has received many awards, including the Golden Camera, the Bambi and the Adolf Grimme Award. Whether as Horst Schlämmer or Queen Beatrix, the comedian knows how to impress in multiple roles. For years, he makes a rare television interview, but a meeting with Conchita Wurst he did not want to miss.
