Microsoft announced as Eurovision 2015 Technology Partner

The Microsoft Corporation, that’s responsible for developing and supporting computer software, consumer electronics and personal computers and services, was announced today as the official Technology Partner of the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.

During the competition days we’ll be able to see Microsoft providing technical solutions in all venues of the contest. Services as Lumia smartphones and apps that will be used by all volunteers, Microsoft Azure Cloud, and Yammer Communication Platform will provide a better experience for all the participants. Furthermore, Microsoft will play a key role in the development of the Eurovision application.

“We welcome Microsoft on board the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest as the Technology Partner.With their help we will be able to lift the official mobile app to even greater heights and also for the first time, bring it to Windows Phone.”, says Jon Ola Sand, the Executive Supervisor of the contest on behalf of the EBU.
