Another Friday evening is upon us and tonight the Irish selection show, Eurosong, is taking place live in Dublin.

Two weeks ago the details were released, informing us of the artists, composers and songs for this year. Now the time is here and five acts will take to the stage at RTÉ (the Irish national broadcaster) studios in Donnybrook, Dublin.

The show

Unlike recent years when the mentor process was used, for 2015 we have gone back to the process where songs were invited in an open process. We have a mix of styles including rap, ballads and mid tempo tongs. Artists come from Ireland, both north and south, one originating from Zambia and one from Sweden. We have authors both from home and abroad.
