Conchita Wurst, the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, is ready for the next step in her career. She premiered a new single on Austrian radio on 20 February. The singer announced on Facebook that the song called You Are Unstoppable will be officially released on 5 March. The song will be premiered live the same day during the 2015 German Eurovision national final- Unser Song Fur Osterreich.
After her victory for Austria in Eurovision with the song Rise Like A Phoenix, Conchita Wurst toured all over Europe, attending various Gay Pride events and television shows. In November she released new music for the first time since Eurovision. She launched the single Heroes. Now three months later, Conchita is ready for the next step with yet another new single, You Are Unstoppable. The track is stylistically similar to her previous single, with the same contemporary pop sound. The main difference is that her newest musical output is a little more uptempo.
The ‘Unstoppable‘ theme has been a part of Wurst’s career ever since she told the audience at Eurovision: ‘We are a unity, and we are unstoppable’, a few minutes after winning the contest. Since this moment she has been calling her fan base ‘The Unstoppables’. Conchita has been gathering a lot of media attention over the last couple of months and in January she even walked on the red carpet during the ceremony for the Golden Globes. There is no information on a debut album yet, but she is set to perform during the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015, that will be held in Vienna, thanks to her victory.
