Eurovision 2015: Euroclub venue revealed

ORF, the Austrian national broadcaster has revealed the venue for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest Euroclub. The venue for the Euroclub will be none other than Vienna’s Ottakringer Brewery.

Accredited Eurovision fans,  journalists, singers, artists, delegations and guests will be be able to enjoy the best of Eurovision music and dance away to wee hours of the night at the Ottakringer Brewery.

You can rock the night away at the 2015 Eurovision Euroclub- Vienna’s Ottakringer Brewery, the perfect place to party hard. Artists, delegates and journalists will get the opportunity to mix and mingle under one roof, thus getting a taste of the Viennese nightlife at the Euroclub.

An estimated 1,700 journalistes from all over the world, as well as some 1,300 delegates and artists from the participating countries are expected to land in the majestic Austrian capital next May, when Vienna will play host to the 60th Eurovision Song Contest.

The Euroclub (17- 23 May)

The Euroclub – The Ottakringer Brewery is located in the 16th district of Vienna and is only a 5 minute drive from the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest venue the Wiener Stadthalle. Hence it is the perfect location for journalists and delegations to unwind and chill out after a day’s tight schedule and hard work!

Accredited journalists will be able to interview the artists in the Euroclub, whilst delegations will be also organize promotional events and parties for their respective countries and artists. Artists will also be able to perform their Eurovision entries at the Euroclub and give mini concerts in order to entertain the assembled guests.

The 2015 Euroclub at the Ottakringer Brewery will officially open its doors on Sunday 17 May, after the Opening Ceremony at the Welcome Reception at the Wiener Rathaus. Hence the Euroclub will be opened for accredited journalists, delegates and artists from 17-23 May. The After Party for the Grand Final will be held at the Euroclub on 23 May. A total of 2,500 accredited persons are expected to grace the premises every day.

A variety of Eurovision Soirees (11-16 May)

What will happen during the first Eurovison week? Well you need not worry if you are in Vienna from 11-16 May as there is a very special social programme lined up for journalists, delegates and accredited fans in the host city.

Special Eurovision soirees will be organized in various locations in the Austrian capital city showcasing the diversity Vienna has to offer. These special evenings will be held throughout the first Eurovision week in various different locations and will showcase Austrian and Viennese hospitality. Accredited persons and  visitors from Austria and abroad will be able to enjoy both local and Eurovision music jam sessions during the first week in each of the chosen locations.

The Ottakringer Brewery

As one of the last great traditions of Vienna, the Ottakringer Brewery has established itself over the years as one of the most important cultural spots of the city having a hosted a large number of events, festivals, concerts and live performances
