Farid Mammadov, who represented Azerbaijan at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, has released the music video to his latest song Adıma layıq.

Written by Farid Mammadov and performed in the Azerbaijani language, Adıma layıq is Farid’s first single to be released since his participation in the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö. The music video, which is filmed in a number of different locations, is directed by the Azerbaijani film director Eltun Bakhishzade.

Revealing his latest song via his Facebook page, Farid announced:

Hi everybody! Finally, I’m presenting you music video of song, called ‘Adıma Layıq’. I hope you will be pleased. Also thank you for congratulations. Your every kind word is very valuable for me!

In 2013, Farid Mammadov was selected to represent Azerbaijan at the Eurovision Song Contest with his song Hold me. Qualifying in first place from the semi-final, Farid finished in 2nd place with a total of 234, just missing out on the winning title to the Danish artist Emmelie de Forest.
