Ukraine: Zlata Ognevich records Ukrainian national anthem

Zlata Ognevich, who represented Ukraine at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, has recorded her own studio version of the national anthem of Ukraine.

Since her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest back in 2013, Zlata Ognevich has been asked to host and perform at numerous events, one example being at the 2013 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Other events include multiple sporting occasions. During each sporting event, Zlata is usually asked to perform the Ukrainian national anthem Shche ne vmerla Ukraina.

Because of this, Zlata has since decided to record a studio acapella version of the national anthem of Ukraine. You can listen to the studio version of the anthem below which has been posted via Zlata’s YouTube channel.

Back in late 2012, Zlata Ognevich competed at the Ukrainian national selection for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest. With her song Gravity, Zlata won the event earning the right to represent her country in the host city of Malmö. Qualifying from the semi-final, Zlata finished in 3rd place with a total of 214 points.
