Sweden: Melodifestivalen galore in Allsång på Skansen 2014

Sveriges Television has published the list of the musical guest on this year Allsång på Skansen. Petra Marklund, better known as September, will be serving as host.

Yesterday the SVT published the full guest list on this year’s Allsång på Skansen, the oldest sing-along show in Sweden.  As usual Melodifestivalen stars and former Swedish Eurovision representatives will take part on it from next Tuesday 24 June.

From the Meldodifestivalen 2014 winner Sanna Nielsen and runner up Ace Wilder to pop sensation Icona Pop, Allsång på Skansen’s musical guest will sing well known Swedish songs and their very own hits.

Petra Marklund, better known as September, will take over former Melodifestivalen contestant and host Måns Zelmerlöw and serve as the hostess of this year event.

Allsång på Skansen started back in 1935 on a small scale in front of 50 people and since 1979 has been broadcasted by the SVT. The show has reached over 2 million viewers and was one of the first live programs to be broadcasted in HD and 5.1 multichannel sound.

Sanna Nielsen finished 3rd last month in Copenhagen with her pop ballad Undo and give Sweden its third top tree placement within four years.
