Molly Smitten-Downes, previously an unsigned artist, was discovered with the help of  BBC Introducting – the platform which helps to promote undiscovered and unsigned artists. BBC Introducing first gave Molly recognition when she uploaded her single Strange alien via her YouTube channel. Earlier this year, Molly was internally selected by the BBC to represent the United Kingdom at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in the host city of Copenhagen. With her song Children of the universe, Molly will take part in the grand final of the contest on the 10 May.
