Revealed earlier than anticipated, it has been announced that Molly Smitten-Downes will represent the United Kingdom at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen.

Last Friday, the BBC announced that the UK representative would be revealed in an exclusive launch via the BBC Red Button channel. They also noted that the artist had been discovered with the help of BBC Introducing, the platform which helps to discover unsigned artists. On Sunday, a special London video shoot took place where the UK Eurovision entry would be recorded in advance for the big Monday announcement. A small number of people were able to view the recording and it has since been revealed that Molly Smitten-Downes will represent the UK at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest.

Although the song has not been officially confirmed as of now, it has been strongly suggested by Twitter users that the name of the entry will be called Children of the universe. Official confirmation is set to be revealed on the UK Launch show tonight via the BBC Red Button channel at 20:25 CET. Fans will also be able to view the show online via the eurovision.tv website.

A few of her other songs will be listed below.
