This evening, Sunday March the 2^nd 2014, the second semi final of the Belgian national selection Eurosong 2014 took place. Just as in semi final 1, four candidates started in the race for the ticket to Copenhagen, Denmark and the chance to represent their country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014!

The hopefuls and their songs were:

1. Axeela – Chasing rainbows
2. Yass – Need you tonight
3. 2 Fabiola feat. Loredana – She’s after my piano
4. Sil – What’s the time in Tokyo?

After each performance the jury members (Bart Peeters, Piet Goddaer, Jef Martens and Ruslana) gave their comments and points: Sil came out on top with 93 points total, followed by Yass with 89 poitns total. 2Fabiola ft. Loredana earned 84 points total, while Axeela received 81 points total.

Then it was time for the televoters to make the final decision. In the meantime, 2006 Belgian representative Kate Ryan took the stage to perform her ESC-entry Je t’adore once more.

When the final results were announced, the televoters appeared in line with the jury: Sil and Yass were this evenings winners, followed by 2Fabiola ft. Loredana and Axeela.

So, we will see Sil and Yass again in the grand final of Eurosong 2014 on Sunday the 16^th of March 2014 in Antwerp’s stadion Sportpaleis!
