Lithuanian broadcaster LRT has launched a new-look site for its Eurovision project in 2007, following the first time that a Lithuanian entry ever made the Top 10 in the Eurovision Song Contest. Through that website, the complete list of the participants in the national final heats were announced.
The site (http://www.eurovizija.lt/), includes the full list of participants in the Lithuanian national selection this yearalthough it doesn't give details of their songs, or how the singers are seperated into different degrees of 'professionalness'. There will be three heats, one for 'newcomers', one for 'less known experienced singers' and one for 'well known experienced singers'.Some of them already took part in various Lithuanian finals, thereforethey will obviouslycompete in the second or in the third heat.

Aistė Pilvelytė competed in the 1999 Lithuanian final with Nubudusi širdis and Tylos verinys. Both songs didn't reach the top 4. She also finished 11th in 2004 final with Amor (te quiero aquí). In 2005, she was ninthpresenting I'll let you fly. No surprise that she also competed in 2006: She was 6th with Just for fun. Ruta Sciogolevaite also competed in 1999, with the song Vasaros buvo per daug. She returned in 2004 and won the first semi final with Over tofinish second in the final.Saules Kliosas did so in 2002, finishing 3rd (or 2nd, since the winner was disqualified after the contest) with Singing in the night. Two years later,they weresixth with Stobidubapand in 2005 he finished 5th with Discoholic. Rasa Kaušiute was ninth in 2004 with He forgot that I'm his baby. The year after, she was Back in the game, which brought him a 13th place. Robertas Kupstas was 14th in 2005 (You're the one) and 8th in 2006 (Falling in love).
The Lithuanian heats will begin on the 27th January, with a series of heats leading up to the grand final to be held on the 3rd March in Vilnius.
Whoever represents Lithuania in Helsinki will get to start in the final thanks to LT United's 6th place in Athens with We are the winners.
