Tickets for the 2014 Danish Eurovision national final, DMGP are on sale. Fans wishing to attend the event can purchase tickets online.

The city of Odense will host the final of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix on 8 March 2014, and there is already excitement building, with DR entertainment editor Rasmus Ladefoged promising a huge show of great intensity which will most definitely not just be a rehearsal for the Eurovision Song Contest final in May.  The Mayor of Odense, Anker Boye, is also very enthusiastic, speaking of his pride that his city will be hosting DMGP for the first time in 21 years, and that he will have “a city bathed in celebration!”

The Olsen Brothers, who won Eurovision in 2000 with Fly on the Wings of Love, are also local to the area.

Emmelie de Forest’s winning DMGP performance from 2013

Denmark the 2014 Eurovision host country will be selecting their representative on March 8 in Odense. Emmelie De Forest brought the Eurovision trophy to Danish soil for the third time when she took Europe by storm last May at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmo with her entry Only teardrops.
