The decision of the Bulgarian withdrawal brought a lot of disappointment to the Eurovision community, as the country has achieved a lot during its 9 years history in the contest. Bulgaria debuted in Eurovision’s 50 year anniversary with the jazz band Kaffe and their song Lorraine that was written by Vesselin Vesselinov-Eko and Orlin Pavlov and placed 19th in the semi final with 49 points. That year, Bulgaria didn’t make it to the final.
