Anna Vissi, the Greek representative at this year's Eurovision Song Contest with rock-ballad Everything has just ended her promotour in Malta.

Anna Vissi is Greece's major singing sensation. She is considered the Greek version of Madonna. No, not the bra wearing, boundary-pushing Madonna but the I've been in the game long, and I am still successful Madonna.

Anna Vissi was very busy visiting various tv and radio channels promoting her entry. Thanks to the collaboration with Maltasong, Ogae Malta caught up with Anna Vissi and spent some time with her.

Writer of her own entry
Anna Vissi spoke about her various successes including the summer hit Nylon. She penned the lyrics of her Eurovision Song Contest 2006 entry Everything herself. She describes the storyline behind the videoclip of her entry as very faithful to the idea she had in her mind when writing the lyrics of her enty. Anna talked about the healthy collaboration she still has with her ex-husband, with whom she writes most of her strongest tracks. Anna Vissi was very relaxed during the chat and repeated for several times how happy she feels with Maltese. She is even considering to hold a concert on the Maltese islands after the Eurovision Song Contest.

Topping the current polls
Accompanied by a large team from ERT, Anna Vissi seems well focused in being the host participant at this year's Eurovision Song Contest. She is also well aware of the huge responsibility placed on her shoulders by all the current online bettings and polls placing her at the very top place. However, she declares that she doesn't want to think about this experience as a competition but rather as an opportunity where she can meet other popular artists coming from all over Europe and perform infront of a wider European audience.

Athens plans revealed on Eurovision Fever
During an interview on Tv show, Eurovision Fever, Anna Vissi revealed that she is currently working on her performance for Athens with Mia Michaels – one of the world's top choreographers. Mia Michaels is the choreographer for Celine Dion's A New Day show at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and Madonna's Drowned World Tour amongst others. However Anna Vissi declares that she is also very spontaneous and a true lover of improvisations during her concerts and shows.

Asked whether she is in love or not at the moment, Anna Vissi declared, “I am happy! And that is what counts at the end!”

Before departing from Malta, Anna Vissi found some time to thank all the people in the Maltese press and media who gave her a good coverage during her stay in Malta, including Ogae Malta and Maltasong.
