171 songs have been submitted to compete in Beosong, the Serbian national selection for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Malmö, as announced by Radio Television of Serbia today.

The RTS specially appointed selection committee, consisting of musical experts, is going to  select only 15 for the semi final of Beosong.

The Beosong semi final takes place on 2 March and the top 5 entries with the most votes of  TV public will qualify for the final on 3 March. The Serbian representative will be selected by 100% televoting.

The show will be broadcast live from the RTS studio with direct  video streaming, explained the executive director of the Eurovision Song Contest project in Serbia.
