BHRT, the national Bosnian broadcaster has informed esctoday.com that Bosnia and Herzegovina will not compete at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest due to financial reasons. BHRT told esctoday.com that the decision was taken yesterday evening in a special meeting. The broadcaster hopes to return to the contest in 2014 if the financial situation improves.

Bosnia Herzegovina debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1993 with Fazla and is yet to win the contest.
