The third edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place on 26th November 2005 in the Ethias Arena in Hasselt. CEO Herman Daniëls of Ethias Arena practically confirmed that to esctoday.com, saying they “are happy to answer your questions at tomorrow's press conference, given by broadcasters VRT and RTBF concerning next year's junior contest”.

Its main attractions are the Gin Museum, Fashion Museum, Japaneses Garden, het Heilig Paterke (the sacred little father) and soon the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

Flemish broadcaster VRT and RTBF, broadcaster of the French community in Belgium will hold the third edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in the Ethias Arena in Hasselt. The Ethias Arena has a length of 136 m and is 100 m wide. It can host events for up to 21,600 people standing or 16,000 seats.

The first stone of the Ethias Arena was laid on 26th March 2004 and the brand new multifunctional venue was finished in September when Swiss tennis legend Martina Hingis and Flemish tennis star Kim Clijsters inaugurated the Ethias Arena.
