France confirmed: Jonatan Cerrada to Istanbul

Jonatan Cerrada will represent France at the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest, on 15th May.

Last year, Jonatan Cerrada won the first edition of the TV contest A la recherche de la nouvelel star, the French version of Pop Idol. His very first single Je voulais te dire que je t'attends placed 2nd in the official sales list in France. In Belgium, the record sold a lot too. Jonatan's first CD album was released by BMG-France under the title Siempre 23. Jonatan is 18 years old, born in Belgium (Wallonia), with Spanish origins.

Following the EBU's request, the French entry has its own website this year. It includes various information about France at the Eurovision Song Contest, some with English translation.
