Cyprus: Eleni Foureira and Claydee release ‘ Loquita’

The 2018 Cypriot Eurovision hopeful, Eleni Foureira, has released a brand new single with Claydee titled Loquita, along with its official music video. The song has gone viral both in Greece and Cyprus, achieving more than 6 million views on Youtube in just over a fortnight.

The Albanian born Greek superstar aka Eleni Foureira has come a long way since her Eurovision experience last year, catapulting herself as one of Greece’s most popular and sought after artists. Her music and songs have crossed frontiers and continents.

Eleni Foureira has become a household name in Spain where she enjoys much fame, name and recognition. Her Eurovision entry Fuego is still playing on the Spanish radio stations this summer. This year she graced the Barcelona Pride for a second consecutive year setting the crowds into a frenzy with her energetic performances.

Song Switch in Eurovision 2019

Foureira was invited to perform at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest as part of the interval act along with Gali Atari, Mans Zelmerlow, Verka Serduchka and Conchita Wurst.

Foureira performed the 2007 Ukrainian entry Lasha Tumbai in Tel Aviv.

The Eurovision Queen also graced the 2019  MAD VMA ceremony in Athens last month where she mesmerised the audience with her charisma and dancing!

Eleni’s latest single Loquita has gone both in Greece and overseas with fans going crazy with its choreography. The song has become a massive hit in Greece and has been viewed more than 6 millions times on Youtube in just 15 days.

Eleni Foureira was selected via an internal selection in order to defend the Cypriot colours at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest. She mesmerised Europe with her magnetism and charm when she set foot on the Eurovision stage in Lisbon, giving Cyprus its best ever Eurovision result ever, achieving a 2nd placing in the Grand Final.
