At this weekend's Eurobash event in Manchester, esctoday.com met with Kit Rolfe, the lead singer of Belle and the Devotions, the all girl group that represented the United Kingdom in the 1984 Eurovision Song Contest.

During the interview Kit spoke about the massive media attention they gained after winning the UK's Song for Europe and the time leading up to the contest in Luxembourg. As well as reflected on her Eurovision experience she gave her views on why Belle and the Devotions received loud boos and jeers from the audience at Nouveau Theatre immediately after their stage performance. Kit also discusses the demise of the group not long after their appearance in the contest.
