Poland: Gromee & Lukas Meijer win Krajowe Eliminacje 2018 and will go to Lisbon!

After an exciting show Gromee feat. Lukas Meijer have won the Polish national selection for Eurovision, Krajowe Eliminacje 2018, and will represent the country in Lisbon with Light me up.

National Polish broadcaster TVP (Telewizja Polska) presented a riveting show for the public, including interval performances by Måns Zelmerlöw, Kasia Moś and Blue Café.

Host Artur Orzech presented the show which featured 10 acts and artists vying for the honour to represent their country at Eurovision 2018.

After the professional jury consisting of Kasia Moś, Jan Borysewicz, Maryla Rodowicz, Tabb and Stefano Terrazzino gave their points, and the public televoting had made its choice, it was revealed that Gromee feat. Lukas Meijer  won Krajowe Eliminacje 2018 and will thus fly the Polish flag to the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon, Portugal!

Poland in Eurovision

Poland debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994 and is yet to win the contest. The country achieved its best result in the competition in 1994 when Edyta Gorniak placed 2nd in Dublin with To nie ja.
