Poland is the next country to open the search for their 2018 Eurovision representative, as the country opens submissions for their returning national final, Krajowe Eliminacje.

Having confirmed their participation at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest back in August, today the nation’s broadcaster – TVP – has opened submissions for Poland’s upcoming national final, Krajowe Eliminacje.

Submit your entries!

From today up until February, artists and composers from across the nation will be able to submit their entries to TVP, in the hopes of representing the nation at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest.

Usual Eurovision rules apply to the country’s national final, whilst song submissions can be submitted and performed in either Polish or English.

Composers do not need to be of Polish citizenship, meaning that song submissions are open to all international authors and producers.

All submissions, together with the signed attachment, should be sent to the broadcaster via their official e-mail address: [email protected].

Submissions close on the 1 February 2018, so there is plenty of time for artists and composers to confirm their interest in the national final!

The rule set of rules and regulations can be found via the official TVP Eurovision website.

Poland and Krajowe Eliminacje

Poland has opted to select their entries for the Eurovision Song Contest via a national final of numerous occasions since 2003, having only reverted back to an internal selection on 3 occasions since (2005, 2014 and 2015).

Since 2016, Poland has opted to select their entry via the national final Krajowe Eliminacje, since receiving positive results in the competition.

With Michał Szpak, the nation received one of their best results in the competition in 2016 with the entry Color of your life; qualifying from their semi-final in 6th place, the nation gained much success in the final televote of the competition, finishing in 8th place with 229 points.

Their success continued into 2017 with Kasia Moś and her song Flashlight, qualifying from the semi-final and placing in 22nd position in Kyiv with a total of 64 points.
