Italy’s 2013 representative Marco Mengoni has released his latest single. Come neve is a collaboration with Giorgia, the winner of Sanremo 1995. The duet is ready to take over the holiday season with a stunning winter song.

December is usually a very productive month for the music industry, and Eurovision artists make no exceptions. Numerous are the ones who make the most of the holiday season to publish new songs and albums.

This is also the case for Marco Mengoni, former winner of the third edition of X Factor Italy and 2013 representative of Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden, with the title L’essenziale.

Marco released this week the teaser of his collaboration with Giorgia, one of the most powerful female voices of the contemporary Italian music panorama and winner of Sanremo 1995. Come neve (Like snow) is the title of the new hit.

Marco Mengoni in Eurovision

Marco Mengoni was the Italian representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, Sweden. He entered the contest after winning the Sanremo Festival 2013 with the song L’essenziale.

Directly qualified to the Grand Final of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, he ranked seventh with 126 points. In his home country he reached success by triumphing in the third edition of X Factor Italy in 2009.
