The 2017 Eurovision runner-up and Bulgarian participant, Kristian Kostov, has gone global as he performed at the Miss World 2017 pageant earlier this evening.
The 17-year-old artist is currently in China, continuing on with his recent travels, where he performed at the annual Miss World pageant, this year hosted in Sanya. The Bulgarian artist confirmed his exciting appearance on social media earlier this week.
Kristian Kostov performed the English version of his debut single, You got me girl, appearing onstage alongside the contestants of this year’s pageant. Also performing at this year’s pageant was Jeffrey Li and Celine Tam.

Miss World pageant
Miss World is an annual event which takes place in numerous locations across the globe. This year saw a total of 118 contestants competing for the right to be crowned the winner at this year’s competition, each of whom battle against each other for the win.
Taking place since 1951, Miss World is one of the oldest-running and most-watched beauty pageants on the planet. What an honour it is for Kristian to perform at such an event!
The Bulgarian artist met up with Miss Bulgaria and Miss Russia at this year’s event earlier tonight, with the singer having connections with both nations.
The eventual winner of Miss World 2017 was India’s Manushi Chhillar, following in the footsteps of last year’s Puerto Rican winner Stephanie Del Valle.
Kostov at Eurovision
Kristian Kostov brought Bulgaria their 3rd ever qualification ever at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest in the city of Kyiv, also receiving the country’s 3rd Top 5 placing out of 11 participations.
Young Kostov felt very proud to represent Bulgaria and made the nation proud, receiving 615 points and finishing as runner-up against eventual Portuguese winner, Salvador Sobral.
