Moldova decides for Oslo on March 6th

Moldovan public broadcaster TRM has officially announced today that the country's national final for Eurovision 2010 will be held on March 6th, and preceded by two semifinals scheduled for February 27th and 28th. Also, 5 more acts have joined the 25 already qualified in the previous round.

These are the 5 acts to qualify for the Moldovan semifinals. The outcome has been decided via SMS vote from January 29th to February 14th:

  • Brand – S.O.S.
  • Gherman Doinita – Meloterapia
  • MBeyeline – Never step back
  • Todo – Dance 4 life
  • Pavel Turcu – Imn Eurovision

The acts to compete at the Moldovan semifinals has also been decided. It is as follows:

Semifinal 1 – February 27th

  • Millenium – Before you go
  • Proiectul Monkey Mind & Daniela – Smile
  • Ionel Istrati – Wait!
  • Dyma – Manipulate
  • Marcel Rosca – If love is the thing
  • Corina Cuniuc & Boris Latisev – Forever

It is yet unknown the qualification method for the Moldovan national final, to take place on March 6th, as well as the number of acts featuring in it.
