Outfits:

Kristian wears smart black trousers and black plimsoll-boots. He’s wearing a long white t-shirt with thumb holes in the sleeves under his black jacket. Long jackets appear to the trend for male Eurovision singers this year. Kristian’s jacket is waist length and has a high round collar, which gives him a very modern futuristic look, and suits his performance perfectly.

Final vocal rehearsal before Kristian’s first stage appearance today!

Bulgaria’s meet & greet session is next with Kristian Kostov. Speaking of his reasoning behind competing in this year’s competition:

I’m not here to be number one or two, I’m here to have fun and to be happy about myself. And if my country is happy so I’m happy.

Kristian went on to speak of some former Eurovision participants, including last year’s most successful Bulgarian entrant to date Poli Genova:

Poli is awesome and amazing and I love the fact she’s done everything for Bulgaria and for all of us. I also love Loreen but because of Dima Bilan and Believe I wanted to start singing.

Beautiful mess gives us the connection between simplicity and special effects in an elegant way. Kristian has an amazing control over his facial expressions and the overall simple but sharp choreography.

Kristian stands alone on stage what looks very well compared to other lone-standers. The installation of extra screens that were in use for the Slovenian rehearsal are here again but in a way that reminds the stage of Eurovision 1997. Simple white pen drawings and lines support the choreography in a same way of last year’s Italian performance. The backdrop looks like a very deep room so we get a feeling that the stage is wider than it is.

The overall hype around the song is agreed and this is the best performance they could take out of this song. High chances for another top 5 placing for Bulgaria this year.
