TVE, the Spanish national broadcaster has confirmed to ESCToday that it will be holding the 2017 Spanish Eurovision national final in February, which will be aired live on TVE 1 (La 1)

The Spanish broadcaster revealed today the 10 candidates who will battle for a ticket to the national final during the Eurocasting concert scheduled to be held in Madrid on 12 January. One of them will get the chance to compete in the 2017 Spanish Eurovision national final Objectivo Eurovision. Thus the first candidate for the national selection will be selected via the Eurocasting. The rest of the candidates will be selected via an internal selection by the Spanish broadcaster.

The 2017 Spanish Eurovision national final is scheduled in February. TVE will disclose more details regarding its Eurovision 2017 project and national final in due course.

The 2017 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 9, 11 and 13 May at the IEC in Kyiv, Ukraine.
