Tonight: Romania chooses for Eurovision

Tonight at 19.15 CET, the Romanian final takes place in the TVR studios in Bucharest. After two semi finals this past week where 24 acts competed, we are now down to twelve songs which will be competing tonight for the honour to represent Romania in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest.

The show

The show starts at 19.15 CET. Twelve acts are competing tonight. A ten-member jury will decide the final winner together with the televoters at a 50/50 split. Swedish trio Biondo will be the special guests on the show where they will perform four songs.

This year, Romania will be competing in the first semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest.
