The first edition of the Eurovision Song Contest for Children, where 15 countries will participate, will be organised in the Copenhagen Forum, where 8,000 spectators can watch the event live. Source: Eurosong.be.

Last year, the Forum hosted the Scandinavian Junior MGP, the children's song contest featuring three nations. The location was also the second option for the Danish broadcaster DR as the venue for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2001, which was held in the Parken Stadium.

DR representative Preben Vridstof stated that the broadcaster will cooperate again with Wonderful Copenhagen. “We want to show that Copenhagen is a kid's size city. All facilities in Copenhagen had been improved for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2001, so no problems are expected”, Vridstof said.
