Dutch 2015 Eurovision Song Contest participant Trijntje Oosterhuis has announced that she will embark on a new intimate theatre tour, the Acoustic Sunday Sessions.

Trijntje Oosterhuis is back on the stage after her 2015 Eurovision-adventure, and the birth of baby daughter Maël in December 2015. Not only will the Dutch diva of soul take the stage with her supergroup Ladies Of Soul this weekend, she also plans a new Dutch solo theatre tour, the Acoustic Sunday Sessions, a successful format she has performed before. As the name implies, the sessions will be held in the intimate atmosphere of small musical theatres. This is described on Trijntje Oosterhuis’ website:

These intimate sessions are born from the love of music in its purest form, Trijntje will be alternately accompanied by a guitarist or a pianist. The afternoons have a free interpretation, famous but also unknown songs from her extensive repertoire are covered. There is no fixed set list, there is room for improvisation and the audience plays a role in the realization of the afternoon. The result is a wonderfully casual atmosphere with many musical surprises.
