MTVA, the Hungarian national broadcaster, has announced the line-ups for the two semi-finals for A Dal 2016.

In the last three weeks each of the 30 shortlisted artists performed across three heats hoping to make it to the second stage of Hungary’s Eurovision Song Contest selection.

18 songs qualified from the heats to the semi-finals and they’ve now been organised into two semi-finals consisting of nine entries each.

The first semi-final includes Hungary’s 2014 representative Andras Kallay-Saunders, who is competing in his band with the song Who we are.

He is joined by Petruska, who earned the joint highest points total in the heats with 42 out of 50.

Bookies favourite Freddie, who matched Petruska’s score of 42, will perform his entry Pioneer in the second semi-final
