Slovenia’s 2015 Eurovision Song Contest representatives Maraaya are getting ready for Vienna, with some special final moments in their home country before the travel to Austria for the 60th anniversary extravaganza…

Married couple Marjetka and Ray, known as soulful indie-pop duo Maraaya, won Slovenia’s national Eurovision selection competition Evrovizijska Melodija (aka EMA ) in February with Here For You.

Maraaya, who will compete in the second semi-final at the Wiener Stadthalle on Thursday 21st May (from a starting position of 16th), will arrive in the Austrian capital next Wednesday where they will commence their rehearsals. The duo spent Monday with press representatives and friends, during which time they presented both the videos of their orchestral version of Here For You (which was recorded with Perpetuum Jazzile) and the “Vienna RMX” version video, recorded with students from Marjetka’s “Popsing” class.

Maraaya also unveiled their three backing vocalists for Vienna: Manca Špik  , Nika Zorjan  and Karin Zemljič .

These last few days in Slovenia have certainly been memorable for Maraaya, including a pleasant and relaxing evening spent with Slovenia’s Austrian ambassador, Dr. Clemens Koja, and his wife:
