Carl Espen, the Norwegian representititve at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest, has released the video for his latest single, Holding on.

Holding on was released last month, and it’s Carl’s first single since he competed at the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen earlier this year. You can check out his new video below.

At the Eurovision Song Contest, Carl finished in 8th in the grand final with his entry Silent storm.

Norway has won the competition on three occasions, the most recent of which was Alexander Rybak’s win in 2009 with Fairytale. The country also holds the record for the highest number of last place finishes in the final, having placed at the bottom of the leader board 11 times.

NRK, the Norwegian national broadcaster, has already confirmed their participation at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna. They will once again be using the Melodi Grand Prix; the competition Carl Espen won the represent Norway, to pick their entry.
