Alexander Rybak, this year's Norwegian Eurovision 2009 winner bewitched the Russian audience when he sang the Russian version of his winning entry Fairytale. The song in Russian is titled Skazka. Alexander performed at a musical show in Moscow, aired on Russian television channel, Channel 1 Russia.

Alexander Rybak conquered Europe in May when he won the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow with his song Fairytale. He mesmerised the European audience into awarding him the grand prix with their votes, and thus achieving a landslide victory. Alexander gave Norway its 3rd Eurovision trophy.

Russia gave 12 points to Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest, thus showing Alexander's growing popularity in this year's Eurovision host nation. Alexander is enjoying fame and success both in Norway and Europe thanks to his Eurovision performance and victory. He has released a Russian version of Fairytale titled Skazka which he performed recently in Moscow much to the audience's and viewer's delight.
