UA: PBC the Ukrainian national broadcaster has revealed today that the construction of the 2017 Eurovision stage will kick off on 8 April at the IEC in Kyiv.

The Ukrainian national broadcaster and the EBU will move into the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest venue aka the IEC  in due course. All 3 pavillions at the IEC will be utilised for the upcoming the Eurovision Song Contest housing the main venue, stage, delegation area, press centre, changing rooms, accreditation area, tehcnical area etc.

Construction equipment, lights, cables, electronic gear is currently on its way to the Eurovision arena. The IEC  will be completely transformed and adjusted in order to host the Eurovision Song Contest.

The stage is expected to be ready within a month from now, just a few days before the first rehearsals kick off Kyiv.

The 2017 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 9, 11 and 13 May at the IEC in Kyiv, Ukraine.
