Severina, Croatia's 2006 Eurovision Song Contest representative, will take the place meant for the late FYR Macedonian singer To�e Proeski on New Year's Eve at the Palas Hotel in Petrovac, Montenegro.

The New Year's Eve concert will take place at the Palas Hotel in Petrovac, Montenegro. Originally it was scheduled that Toše Proeski would be the main performer of the evening but now it will be the Croatian Severina. Seve'sfee will be€30 000 for the concert whereas Toše's would have been €45 000 for this concert as well as another one in Budva on New Year's Day.

Toše,who represented his country at the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest,was tragically killed in a car crash on a Croatian motorway in October of this year, aged just 26.

As well as Severina, the Serbian folk singer Ana Bekuta, a one-time participant at Beovizija, will perform.
