The European Broadcasting Union is currently taking into consideration to stream several national finals for the Eurovision Song Contest through the official website eurovision.tv. Belgian boradcaster VRT is among the interested broadcasters and added the possibility of a Eurosong 2008 webcast to the rules of the national final.

The new feature is an answer to the many requests by fans for the new eurovision.tv which will be launched on 15th January. Of course, not all national finals would be broadcast in the internet, the broadcasters would first have to give their permission to the EBU.
