Major Spanish newspapers, news agencies and magazines have devoted headlines to the 2008 Andorran Eurovision representative Gisela. La Vanguardia, Europa Press, ABC, La Opinion, los40.com, Hola, 20minutos and Vertele have all been reporting on Gisela's Eurovision participation for the Principality of Andorra. Most of the Spanish national and regional television channels have been covering Gisela's story. Last week RTVA, the national Andorran television broadcaster, officially announced that Gisela would represent Andorra at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade.

She enjoys popularity and fame among the Spanish children thanks to her work and collaboration with Disney. She has sung the Spanish versions of the musical scores of several Disney films. She is among Spain's most sought after and loved singers today.

Her song Casanova has been composed by Jordi Cubino, the same manwho was behind David Bisbal's Corazon Latino which was narrowly beaten by Rosa's Europe's living a celebration at the 2002 Spanish Eurovision finals.
