Russia: Eurovision contestants rule

Dima Bilan (Russia 2006), Serebro (2007) Dmitriy Koldun (Belarus 2007), Philip Kirkorov (Russia 1995), Angelika Agurbash (Belarus 2005) and Yulia Savicheva (Russia 2004) were awarded earlier this month with the “most popular artist of Russia” Awards at the ceremony of “Zolotoi Grammofon” held annualy by C1R.

Theannual event, held earlier this month, brought some good results to ex-participants of Russia at Eurovision Song Contest. Viewers of C1R voted thought-out the year for their favourite artists and songs. On December 2nd, at the ceremony award "Zolotoi Grammofon" the big winners were announced. Among many famous Russian artists,six names are familiar to Eurovision fans. Philip Kirkorov, Yulia Savicheva, Dima Bilanand Serebro who represented Russia and Angelika AgurbashwithDima Koldun,who represented the Republic of Belarus were all honoured with an award of most popular artists accroding to C1R viewers.The Serebro trio opened the night by performing their #1 song and were followed later on by Koldun and his "Work your magic" in Russian.
