The Norwegian broadcaster NRK announces, according to side2.no, that last years commentator Per Sundnes not will be chosen to comment this year's Eurovision finals in Belgrade. He took over the role from Jostein Pedersen and will be presenting Melodi Grand Prix, Norway's selection show for the Eurovision Song Contest.

The last two commentators for Norway, Jostein Pedersen and Per Sundnes, both have a strong personality and use colourful language. Now NRK is looking for someone more anonymous to comment in Serbia 2008. This years producer, Stian Malme, states that they don't want the commentator to overshadow thesongs in the competition.

Per Sundnes is selected to be the host of the norwegian selections MGP, and he thinks it is quite natural that he's not going to do the comments in addition, even though Sweden used the same person for these two jobs in 2007.
